PRO Stories
Throughout the year, I developed an incredible relationship with Josh Goldstein, a Trex Platinum PRO and owner of 1918 Preservation. Josh goes through Lakeland Lumber, a T10 and Defend Against Trex yard. This year, I converted Josh from Trex plugs to Cortex, to FF beam-to-joist, and to MVP, which he now uses on every job. Because of my work with Josh, Lakeland Lumber has since completely dumped Trex plugs in favor of Cortex for 2026 — a huge win for the Cleveland market.

I had another strong year working with Pete Madia and Evergreen. Pete continues to adopt new FastenMaster products—this year I converted both of his crews to FF Post-to-Beam and Pam Cortex for AZEK, leading to increased FF turns at Wilson’s Lumber and PamFAST Cortex gaining a stocking position in their new flagship store.
Pete now uses MVP on every job, purchasing buckets from Wilson and fully converting from SaberDrive. Earlier this year, he ran into installation issues with TigerClaw and considered switching to CAMO. I immediately visited him with my TimberTech rep, resolved the issues, and kept him committed to TCG and ConceaLOC.
